JUDITH GREESON SMITH: (Birth Mother)

A little bio for Judith – I need to speak with her sister Elizabeth to get these details. For now, consider she was a small town girl. Victoria Texas was home. Her family owned the Chevrolet dealership, and she drove around in a Camaro, I think? She wanted to wipe the dust of that tiny town off of her feet, so she went to school…. Not sure yet how she met George Gault, but it’s coming…. I’m as intrigued as you are?

cyndi only – I need help here, more coming soon.

GEORGE H. GAULT: (Birth Father, Dad)

The birth father. The father of Mystery. The man we were told was a Methodist minister from Ireland who we were told was Irish, so Smitty used to be Irish! This is the man we were told was paid to stay away from his son, and he supposedly took the money. The myth, the legend! We’ll meet him for real when the story continues, but this Irish Minister would turn out to be quite a surprise… A very pleasant surprise! We didn’t get to meet him until later, about 2006, so neither do you. #Tease…

Cyndi – promising to keep journaling for her own sanity.

FRANK RANDALL SMITH: (Adopted Father)

This man was kind enough to legally adopt Smitty (Christopher Blanton) after his mother’s divorce from his birth father. Randy would foot the bill for his education, his upbringing, and his college career. He taught Smitty to be the best of the best no matter what. This would also be the man who would come home blind-stinking-drunk and physically abuse the mother and the son. I’m not sure about the daughter, and I cannot interview her because she committed suicide by jumping out of her window across from the NY Stock Exchange. But again, I get ahead of myself. I don’t know what to tell you about Randy. He was hilarious. He was charming. He was powerful. He was MEAN. He was RUTHLESS. He did not approve of me, except enough to HIT ON ME AT THE RITZ CARLTON (Marina Del Rey) IN FRONT OF HIS SON? #NiceGuyEh (It wasn’t the first time F. Randall made passes at his son’s dates. Once again, just a taste of what’s to come!)

This man is one of the most mysterious parts of the equation. Here’s a quote from his bio:

“Randy Smith has over 51 years of investment and securities analysis experience. He founded Capital Counsel in 1999 after 24 years with Train Smith Counsel. Before co-founding Train Smith Counsel, Randy established National Journal, an authoritative publication on the governmental policy-making process. He was a Security Analyst with Shearson Hammill and later a Principal at WK Whiteford & Co. Randy began his career in 1961 as a Specialist on the American Stock Exchange, after receiving a BA degree from Williams College.”
